JUDGMENT

(By G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) Heard both sides.

2.The appellant was appointed as Vocational Instructors in a Government school. His contention is that following the implementation of the Sixth Pay Commission, he was eligible for revised basic pay of Rs.21,470/- as per the Additional Fitment Table 15 and Rule 4(1)(iii) of the Tamil Nadu Revised Scale of Pay Rules, 2009. His request was rejected by the fourth respondent herein vide proceedings dated 20.10.2020. Challenging the rejection order, WP(MD)No.17865 of 2020 was filed. The learned Single Judge vide order dated 14.07.2023 2/5

dismissed the writ petition. Challenging the same, this writ appeal came to be filed.

3.The issue raised in this writ appeal is no longer res integra. Vide order dated 29.08.2025 in WA(MD)No.468 of 2025 etc., we held that applying the Additional Fitment Table 15 does not arise for the post of Vocational Instructors. After so holding, we had allowed the appeals filed by the Government. In view of the said order, we have to necessarily uphold the impugned order of the learned Single Judge.
