ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to remove the drinking water pipeline installed in the petitioner's property in Survey No.18/3, Sathakudi Village, Keezhkudivattahur Panchayat, Aavudaiyarkoil, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2024, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents produced a copy of the communication received from the third respondent/Block Development Officer, wherein it has been stated as follows:- "I would like to state that with regard to the petitioner's contention that the panchayat owned drinking water supply pipeline is passing through the petitioner's patta land in S.F.No.18/3, it is submitted that the pipeline will be duly removed from the petitioner's land immediately 2/4

and will be laid the through Government's land without hindrance to the petitioner and water supply would be maintained scrupulously."

3. Recording the same, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent/Block Development Officer to remove the pipeline from the petitioner's land within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
