The present writ petition has been filed to remove the encroachments and illegal sand quarrying and connected activities carried out by the sixth and seventh respondents in Natham Survey No. 154/1, Seelaipillayar Puthur Village, Thottiyam Taluk, Trichy District. 2.When the matter was heard on 04.09.2025, this Court recording the action initiated by the official respondents under the Tamil 2/5
Nadu Land Encroachment Act, has directed them to file a status report. In pursuance thereof, the learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted that the authorities have already served a notice dated 10.09.2025 under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act. Therefore, it is apparent that the official respondents have already initiated the action in accordance with law.
3.In view of the above action, no further order is required. Hence, recording the above submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
