2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
3. In the instant case, there is a matrimonial dispute between the parties. That apart, the petitioner had earlier given two complaints-one before the Devakottai Police Station, which was taken on file as a petition on 11.10.2023 and it was closed by recording the undertaking that no one will cause any threat to the petitioner and her family members. Thereafter, another complaint was given before the All Women Police Station, Devakottai, which was enquired in Petition No.187 of 2023. This was also closed on the ground that the parties came to some settlement and the husband had informed the Police that he will live with the petitioner. 2/4
4. It is quite clear from the materials placed before this Court that the matter involves a matrimonial dispute between the parties. Hence, instead of seeking for a police protection, the petitioner has to seek for a substantive relief. Except giving this clarity, no further orders can be passed in this Criminal Original Petition.
