ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH,J.) The order of the Writ Court dated 03.01.2019, was to the effect that the Tahsildar (West), Dindigul should consider the objection filed by the petitioner and pass a reasoned order on merits, within a period of eight weeks.

2. Today, when the matter was called, the learned Additional Government Pleader has filed a compliance report stating that the order has been complied and the encroachment were removed on 10.06.2023 in the presence of the petitioner. For the delay, it is stated that the encroacher had challenged the orders passed by the respondent twice before this Court, which had disabled them to comply the order earlier.

3. Now that the encroachments have been removed and the learned counsel for the petitioner herein also had ratified such a statement, the disobedience alleged in this Contempt Petition would not be termed to be willful in nature.
