ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner has purchased the petition mentioned property from one Jahir Hussain vide sale deed dated 22.08.2025. It was presented for registration on 23.08.2025 before the second respondent. The document was not immediately registered or released. It has been kept as a pending document for the purpose of scrutiny. To that effect, communication has been issued. In these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.The registering authority is unable to give any convincing explanation as to why, the document has been kept as pending document. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that it appears that the petitioner's vendor's vendor is having some dispute with his vendor and 2/4

he appears to have given some objection and that is why, the registration formalities are not being conducted.

4.This cannot be a proper reason for withholding the document. If the papers are otherwise in order, the second respondent is directed to forthwith register and release the document subject fulfilment of other usual formalities.
