Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is reported by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent that during the pendency of this petition, the trial in Spl.S.C.No.156 of 2019 on the file of the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Thoothukudi, has concluded and the petitioner/accused was also acquitted of all the charges. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
