PRAYER:- Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the Revision Petition dated 04.12.2024 filed by the seventh respondent under Section 10-A(1)(c) of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court. ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by C.KUMARAPPAN, J.) This Writ Petition is filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the Revision Petition dated 04.12.2024 filed by the seventh respondent under Section 10-A(1)(c) of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
2.Heard Mr.S.Yogeswaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.P.Maharajan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 4.

3.The main grievance of the petitioner is to dispose of the revision petition filed by the seventh respondent under Section 10-A(1) (c) of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, within a reasonable time.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in view of the pendency of the revision petition, the official respondents are not taking action by removing the encroachment. In view of the same, on 17.09.2025 this Court has directed the Special Government Pleader to find out the pendency of the revision petition filed on 04.12.2024 before the Secretary to Government of Tamil Nadu, Revenue and Disaster Management Department.
5.Today, the Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents would submit that the revision petition is still pending, and that they have sought a response from the District Collector, which is yet to be received. In pursuance thereof, the learned Special Government Pleader has circulated a copy of the letter, dated 07.01.2025, 3/6
issued by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department to the District Collector along with the copy of the Revision Petition. 6.On perusal of the copy of the Revision Petition, the present petitioner was already made as a party to the said revision petition. Therefore, if the petitioner wants to seek earlier hearing of the Revision Petition, it is for him to move the Revision Authority. 7.In view of the same, this Writ Petition stands disposed of as indicated above. No costs.
