PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to accord necessary permission so as to perform a poojas and worship their one of the family god called U.Muthuramalinga Thevar in the usual manner, which is situated at memorable hall situated at near AMADMK Mandram, Kallambal Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District, which is scheduled to be taken place on 29.10.2023 and 30.10.2023 by taking into consideration of petitioner's representation dated 16.10.2023.

ORDER
The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to accord necessary permission so as to perform a poojas and worship their one of the family god called U.Muthuramalinga Thevar in the usual manner, which is situated at memorable hall situated at near AMADMK Mandram, Kallambal Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District, which is scheduled to be taken place on 29.10.2023 and 30.10.2023 by taking into consideration of petitioner's representation dated 16.10.2023 2/5
2. Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The representation, dated 16.10.2023 has been made by the petitioner seeking Police protection and permission for conducting cultural festival and for other purpose. Simultaneously, on 17.10.2023 this petition has been filed seeking mandatory prayer. Such sort of practice cannot be encouraged. At least seven days should be given to the respondents to respond to the above said representation. Without knowing whether the above said representation is received by the competent authority or not, this petition has been filed hurriedly. As noted above, such sort of practice cannot be encouraged.
4. The petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh representation before the concerned authority.

5. With the above liberty, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
