ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner from the third respondent and his men based on the complaints dated 15.11.2022, 16.11.2022 and 21.11.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. It is not in dispute that a civil suit is pending between the petitioner and the third respondent in O.S.No.80 of 2021 on the file of the Sub Court, Aranthangi.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that they have already given three complaints, but no action was taken so far.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that on the basis of the 2/4

complaint given by the servant of the petitioner, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.653 of 2022 against the third respondent and another and the same is pending.

6. Considering the above, the second respondent police is directed to consider the complaints given by the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
