By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. The limited prayer sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 14.02.2019 as against the noninclusion in the panel of Assistant Executive Engineers fit for promotion to the post of Executive Engineer issued by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings, dated 11.02.2019.
3. Since the appeal is said to be pending for a considerable length of time, it would be appropriate to direct the first respondent to dispose it of expeditiously, within the stipulated time.
4.In view of the above observations, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 14.02.2019 as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of (*)three Weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
