PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to cancel the wrong Patta No.340 issued in favour of Mr.Pachaikani and consequently restore patta in favour of petitioner by considering petitioner's representation dated 12.06.2025 within a time frame fixed by this Court. For Petitioner : M/s.C.Geetha For Respondents : Mr.K.Balasubramani Special Government Pleader for R1 to R3 1/3
ORDER
After submitting an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer seeking cancellation of patta No.340. the present writ petition has been filed for the expeditious disposal thereof.
2.Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 to 3. He submits that the said appeal would be disposed of on merits within three months after providing a reasonable opportunity to all the parties thereto. 3.Given the nature of relief claimed in this writ petition, it is not necessary to issue notice to the 4th respondent. Instead, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing a reasonable opportunity to all the parties to such appeal. No costs.
