ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to complete the enquiry proceeding and take appropriate action as per law in petitioner's CSR No. 578 of 2024 dated 13.08.2024 on the file of the second Respondent.
2.The contention of the petitioner is that on 15.07.2024 he married one Lincy, which is an arranged marriage. Thereafter they have been living separately. Suddenly the petitioner started receiving message from the un-known number stating that he and his wife Lincy were in love with each other for more than 1 1⁄2 years . Since the parents of Lincy were not agreeable for marriage forcibly she was married to the petitioner and he had also sent photos in the whatsapp along with his wife. When the petitioner enquired his wife she categorically denied any such relationship and later he came to understand the photos sent were by photoshop. Therefore the petitioner had blocked the number. Then the person contacted through telegram and was again disturbing his marriage 2/5
life. It was again blocked. Again he had sent photos through another number in Telegram. He is sending some conversation which was claiming to be private conversation. The petitioner unable to bear further had lodged complaint giving the caller name as Muthukumar which is his mobile number. Accepting the name CSR No.578 of 2024 was assigned, but no action has been taken.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint of the petitioner CSR number has been assigned Thereafter it was found that the mobile number had become inactive. The details collected shows that the mobile number stands in the name of one Muthukumar and he was not available in the said address given to the service provider . Now the IP address has been found out and requisition has been given to the telegram to get further details. He would further submit that the respondent police is conducting investigation in another angle through service provider details, tower location and other details. The mobile phone was switched off from 13.07.2024. A constant watch is kept and in any event the investigation would be completed within a period of four months.

4. In view of the specific undertaking given by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the investigation would be concluded within a period of four months, the writ petition stands closed. In the event of collecting any materials appropriate action would be taken. No costs.
