PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in Mu.Mu. No. 2667/Aa4/2023 dated 14.09.2023 regarding cancellation of the registered documents Nos. 2438/2012, 2378/2023 and 2778/2023 on the file of the Sub Registrar Office, Vallam, Thanjavur District under Section 77-A of the Tamil Nadu Registration Act and quash the same as illegal and consequently directing the 1st respondent to restore the Registered Documents Nos.2438/2012, 2378/2023 and 2778/2023 on the file of the Sub Registrar Office, Vallam, Thanjavur District in the original condition.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging order passed by the 1st respondent in Mu.Mu. No.2667/Aa4/2023 dated 14.09.2023 regarding cancellation of the registered documents Nos. 2438/2012, 2378/2023 and 2778/2023 on the file of the Sub Registrar Office, Vallam, Thanjavur District under Section 77-A of the Tamil Nadu Registration Act as illegal and consequently to direct the 1st respondent to restore the Registered Document Nos.2438/2012, 2378/2023 and 2778/2023 on the file of the Sub Registrar Office, Vallam, Thanjavur District in the original condition.

2. In view of Section 77-A of the Registration Act having been struck down by this Court in W.P.No.10291 of 2022 and Batch cases, dated 02.08.2024, nothing survives for consideration in this Writ Petition.
