ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner / Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.06.2024 for the alleged offences under Sections 8(c) r/w. 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, 1985, in Crime No. 378 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The earlier 3 bail petitions filed by the petitioner has already been dismissed by this Court. This is the 4th bail petition. Even in the earlier petitions, this Court took into consideration the quantity of the contraband that was seized from the petitioner and this Court also took into consideration the pending case in C.C. No. 104 of 2024 on the file of the Additional District Judge / Presiding Officer and Special Court for E.C. Act Cases, Thanjavur. There are totally 5 previous cases against the petitioner.

3. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. There shall be a direction to the learned Additional District Judge / Presiding Officer and Special Court for E.C. Act Cases, Thanjavur to dispose of C.C. No. 104 of 2024 within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance.
