Side) O RDER This petition has been filed to issue a direction directing the Respondent No.1 to withdraw the enquiry of the complaint dated 29.09.2023 pending before the Respondent No.3 and entrust the same to any other officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police for conducting further enquiry based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.09.2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on 14.05.2001, the petitioner has purchased a plot, from one Ramamoorthy through his power agent Pitchai, a sale deed was executed on 14.05.2001, the same was registered on the file of the Sub Registrar, Thuraiyur vide Doc.No.1664/2001, a joint patta was issued to the petitioner in joint patta No.1667 and the petitioner is in possession of the property. On 30.08.2023, when the petitioner attempted to put up fencing, a person approached the petitioner stating that the said property was purchased by him. The petitioner came to know that the said Ramamoorthy has executed a sale 2/4

deed to some other person, by suppressing the earlier sale of the said property. Hence, a complaint has been given by the petitioner. Seeking progress in her complaint, this petition came to be filed.

3. Learned Government Advocate (crl.side) submitted that the petitioner has made the complaint only on 05.10.2023 before the third respondent. On the basis of the complaint, a request has been made to the concerned revenue authorities to furnish the details of the ownership of the property. The same is pending. He further undertakes that enquiry will be completed in a month.

4. Let the enquiry be completed within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
