Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st to 4th respondents to take appropriate action against the 5th to 7th respondents and to further direct the 1st to 4th respondents to ensure that temple tax is duly collected from petitioner family by the temple festival committee, thereby enabling us to peacefully perform worship at the Kumbabishekam festival scheduled on 07.09.2025. ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The Kumbabishekam for the petition mentioned temple is to be held on 07.09.2025. The petitioner's grievance is that the organisers are not collecting head tax from him. This issue cannot be decided in this writ petition. The petitioner may have to go elsewhere for getting his rights declared. However, the petitioner cannot be prevented from 2/4

offering worship on the occasion like any other devotee. This right of the petitioner cannot be prevented by any person. 3.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
