ORDER

The petitioner seeking renewal of his passport has submitted an application and has also filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to renew his passport. 2.The petitioner has already been issued with passport in passport No.P0360181 in ARN No.252003796226. The said passport is valid upto 09.05.2026. However, the petitioner obtained a job in Dubai in the month of June 2025 and one of the condition of the employer is that the persons who are having passport for a minimum period of two years would be considered for working visa. Therefore, the petitioner has filed an application before the second respondent to renew his passport. 3.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submits that the renewal of passport of this petitioner can be considered only after the expiry of the current passport, ie., on 10.05.2026.

4.This Court has considered the submissions made on either side and perused the available records.

5.Since there are certain Rules to renew the passport, this Court is not inclined to issue any direction to the second respondent to renew the petitioner's passport, which is still having validity upto 09.05.2026. However, the renewal of passport of this petitioner can be considered positively on 10.05.2026, as per Rules. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
