ORDER

This petition has been filed to strike off the order dated 02.09.2024 made in DVC No.8/2018 passed by the Judicial Magistrate Court, Tenkasi.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are the in-laws of the respondent. The respondent initiated domestic violence proceedings, wherein, an order has been passed and in the said order, compensation was ordered and in the maintenance case, maintenance was also ordered to the child. Challenging the order impugned in DVC No.8/2018, the petitioners are before this Court.

3. It is seen that the petitioner is having an alternative remedy of filing an appeal against the order impugned. When there is an alternative remedy, invoking the writ jurisdiction under Article 227 of the Constitution of India by filing a Civil Revision Petition is not 2/4
