ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent police to file a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kovilpatti in Crime No.45 of 2022 pending investigation on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.45 of 2022 and that the investigation is almost completed and they are going to file a charge sheet shortly. Hence, he seeks one month time to file charge sheet before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent police is directed to file charge sheet in Crime No.45 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
