This contempt petition has been filed to punish the Contemnor / Respondent for his willful disobedience of this Court order in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.15748 of 2021 dated 16.02.2022.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner / wife already filed H.C.P.(MD)No.221 of 2024 before this Court and in that case, the respondent herein has filed a report that the detenu is residing at Kuwait and regularly contacting with the family members. Based on the said report, the above said H.C.P.(MD)No.221 of 2024 was closed on 14.02.2024.

3.In view of the compliance report filed by the respondent police in H.C.P.(MD)No.221 of 2024, the order passed by this Court in Crl.OP(MD)No.15478 of 2021, dated 16.02.2022, has been complied with by the respondent.
