JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by S.SRIMATHY, J.) This writ appeal is filed against the order dated 02.04.2024 made in W.P(MD)No.19863 of 2023.

The writ petition is filed for writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the order dated 17.04.2023 and to approve and grant salary to one Ms.A.Sathya, who has served only as a Secondary Grade Teacher in the respondent school. However the objection of the appellant is that the said Ms.S.Sathya was appointed as Head Mistress, but she is not having qualification since she does not possess the five years of experience. 3.

It is an admitted fact that the qualification for appointment of Secondary Grade Headmistress that five years of experience is 2/5

necessary. But in the present case the contention of the school is that the post of Headmistress became vacant, in the said place already serving Secondary Grade Teacher was appointed. In the resultant vacancy the said Ms.A.Sathya was appointed. In such circumstances this Court is of the considered opinion the said Ms.A.Sathya is entitled to salary of Secondary Grade Teacher alone.
