ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.Contending that the order passed by this Court has not been complied with, the present writ petition came to be filed. Paragraph 3 of the order reads as follows:

"3. I therefore direct the respondent management to refer the petitioner to the medical board within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/5

The duly constituted medical board will examine the petitioner and submit its report to the management within a period of six weeks thereafter. The medical board shall furnish the petitioner with a copy of the report. Based on the report of the medical board, the management will take a decision regarding giving suitable alternative employment to the writ petitioner. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Corporation submitted that Medical report is to the effect that the petitioner is unfit for driving. Hence based on the recommendation of the Labour Dispute committee, the petitioner has been given alternative employment in the electrical side. 3.Recording the said development, this contempt petition is closed. 23.11.2023 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No NCC : Yes / No MGA 3/5
