ORDER

The petitioner / defacto complainant had lodged a complaint to the respondent police and the case in Crime No. 192 of 2023 was registered on 1/4

04.06.2023. It is more than a year till date, no proper investigation has been conducted. The petitioner was assaulted and injured and took treatment at hospital and the medical certificates also produced. But the respondent police is showing laxity. Though the case, in Crime No. 192 of 2023 for offence under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 506(ii) and Section 4 of Women Harassment Act, has been registered against 7 persons, the final report is yet to be filed.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side), on instructions, submits now the investigation has been completed and the charge sheet has been filed in C.C. No. 493 of 2023 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti against 7 persons and the next hearing date is on 18.12.2024.

3. In view of the same, nothing survives in this petition and hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. 13.11.2024 NCC : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No Index : Yes/No pal 2/4
