This Criminal Original petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 224 of 2019 on the file of the first respondent police.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the respondent police completed investigation in Crime No. 224 of 2019 and also filed final report on 16.05.2019 before the Mahila Court, Trichy and the same is taken cognizance in C.C.No. 2623 of 2019.

3. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report.
