Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to revise and drop the punishment of 1 year Increment cut with cumulative effect passed by the 1st respondent dated 28.05.2012 in terms of Clause 61 of 12(3) Settlement dated 30.09.1992 and in view of the action dropped Report dated 24.03.2010 submitted by the Inspector of Police, Dindigul Taluk Circle Police Station before the Judicial Magistrate - I, Dindigul.

ORDER

Pursuant to the directions of this Court dated 10.07.2018 in W.P(MD) No.14780 of 2018, the respondent had passed an order dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont P.(MD)No.1874 of 2019 06.02.2020 revising the earlier punishment inflicted by the Appellate Authority by imposing a punishment of nine months of stoppage of increment with cumulative effect instead of the original punishment of one year of stoppage of increment with cumulative effect.

2. As such, this Court is of the view that the order dated 10.07.2018 has been complied with. Hence, there is no disobedience of the order of this Court. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed. If at all the petitioner is of the view that the action taken by the respondent is not proper, it is open to him to workout his remedy in accordance with law.
