ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the third respondent to file the final report/charge sheet in pursuance to the Crime No.341 of 2020 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Padmanabapuram, Kanyakumari District within a time frame, which may be fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.341 of 2020 and that the investigation is almost completed and they are going to file a charge 2/4
sheet shortly. Hence, he seeks two weeks time to file charge sheet before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.
4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the third respondent police is directed to file charge sheet in connection with the case in Crime No.341 of 2020 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
