ORDER

The petitioner has sought for direction to the third respondent to give adequate police protection to her and her family members based on her representation dated 20.08.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner earlier alleging damage to the fence erected by her, an FIR was registered against the fourth respondent and others in Crime No.250 of 2023.

3. In view of the above submission, this Court is of the view that since there is an FIR already pending, it would suffice if the respondent Police is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report. 2/4

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to expedite the investigation in Crime No.250 of 2023 and file a final report within a period of eight (8) weeks from today.
