Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioners on the complaint given by the 4th respondent. ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioners to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioners on the complaint given by the 4th respondent.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 to 3 would submit that based on the complaint given by the 4th respondent, they called the petitioners for enquiry. Apart from that, they have not harassed the petitioners. However, they will complete the enquiry within one week.
3. The prayer sought for in this petition is not to harass the petitioner, but according to the respondents police, they received complaint from the 4th respondent and the same is pending with the 1st respondent. Since the 2/4
complaint the 4th respondent is pending for enquiry with the 1st respondent, it is for the 1st respondent to complete the enquiry within a week in accordance with law. In view of the same, recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, this Court directs the 1st respondent to complete the enquiry on the complaint given by the 4th respondent within in a period of one week from the date of this order.
4. With the above said direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
