JUDGEMENT The Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is preferred against the Fair order and Decreetal order passed in I.D.O.P.No.4 of 2021 on the file of the Additional District Court of Virudhunagar, dated 07.11.2022.

2. By Order of this Court, dated 06.11.2023 this matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Bench for settlement.

3. After mediation and conciliation, the parties have entered into a settlement agreement, dated 20.12.2023. The terms of settlement has been reduced into writing and both the parties as well as their respective counsel signed in the aforesaid agreement. The parties have affirmed the settlement, wherein, the wife / respondent has agreed to receive a sum of Rs.16,00,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Lakhs Only) in full and final settlement.

4. In view of the same, the settlement is recorded. The Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of in terms of the settlement dated 20.12.2023. The settlement shall form part and parcel of this 2/4

judgment and decree. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
