ORDER
The petitioner seeks for quashing the impugned final report in C.C.No.85 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, 1/7
Ramanathapuram, Ramanathapuram District, for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(i) I.P.C.
2. The allegation against the petitioner is that due to previous enmity, the petitioner and other accused abused the defacto complainant in filthy language and attacked her with iron rods and wooden logs and thus, he committed the aforesaid offences.
3. The petitioner and the defacto complainant have since arrived at a compromise and had filed a joint compromise memo, by which the defacto complainant has agreed for quashing of the impugned final report, on the basis of the compromise.

4. The said compromise memo is taken on record. The second respondent is present in person, who is identified by Mr.T.Senthoor, HC901, Thirupulani Police Station. She confirms the compromise entered into between her and the petitioner.
5. Therefore, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the trial pending. Accordingly the impugned charge sheet in C.C.No.85 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram, Ramanathapuram District, is hereby quashed, in terms of the joint compromise memo.
