ORDER

Even though a compliance of the order was reported before this Court during the hearing on 14.11.2024, this Court finding that there has been a violation of the time line prescribed had directed the respondents to file an affidavit as to why the order has not been complied with within the time frame.

2. Today, an affidavit had been filed by the contemnor indicating that only because of the delay in the petitioner's remitting the license fee, there has been a delay in initiating the enquiry proceedings and the same was neither wilful nor wanton.

3. Accepting the explanation submitted by the contemnor, this Court is of the view that the present petition need not be further precipitated and accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
