PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to direct the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Usilampatti to dispose and to expedite the trial in O.S.No.143 of 2018 on the file of the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Usilampatti within a period to be fixed time frame by this Honourable court and thus render justice. ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking direction to direct the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Usilampatti to dispose and to expedite the trial in O.S.No.143 of 2018 on the file of the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Usilampatti.

2. Taking into consideration of the plea made by the petitioner, this Court called for a report from the learned Judge as to the time required to dispose of the suit. A report has been submitted by the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate No.1 (FAC), Usilampatti. He has stated that, as he has been holding full additional charge, he is able to sit in court only once a week, i.e., every Friday, and that it would take approximately nine months to dispose of the suit.

3. Recording the same, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed off. The learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate No.1, Usilampatti is directed to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.143 of 2018 within a period of nine months from today. There shall be no order as to costs. 23.03.2026 gvn To:
