Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct survey and measurement in respect of the land in Survey Nos. 485/1 and 485/2 in Mullakadu Village, Thoothukudi Taluk, Thoothukudi District, and to issue survey report to the petitioner within a time frame. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to survey and measure the land of the petitioner based on the petitioner's application for which he had also remitted the required fees.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that based on the earlier application, the petitioner's land had been surveyed on 20.09.2024 and would further submit that if the petitioner pays the necessary fees for the present request, there will be no impediment for the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner for survey of the lands as requested.

3. In such view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to pay necessary fees within a period of two weeks from today (08.11.2024) and the respondents on receipt of such payment, shall conduct the survey and measure the land as requested by the petitioner within a period of six weeks thereafter.

4. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
