ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.79 of 2022 within time frame as fixed by this Court and file charge sheet in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.79 of 2022. He would further submit that investigation is almost completed and that they are going to file a charge sheet shortly. Hence, he seeks one week time to file charge sheet before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to complete the 2/4

investigation and file charge sheet in Crime No.79 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
