PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus directing the 1st respondent District Collector and the 2nd respondent Tahsildar to forthwith remove the encroachment at the government land in Group Survey No.438/3 at Mattupatti of Vilpatti Village, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District and further directing the respondents 3 and 4 to give necessary police protection to the officials at the time of removal of encroachment.
