ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court that the order of this Court in WP.(MD)No.6922 of 2024 dated 05.04.2024, has not been complied with.

2.When this contempt petition is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that as against the orders passed by this Court in WP.(MD)No.6922 of 2024, a writ appeal has been filed before the Division Bench in WA.(MD)No.235 of 2025 and the same was also disposed of by an order dated 05.02.2025. Thereafter, after calculating the arrears, the second respondent has also sent a proposal to the Government to settle the arrears amount to this petitioner together with interest, on 26.05.2025.

3.Considering this development, this contempt petition is closed with a direction that the amount due to this petitioner has to be settled within a period of four weeks from 2/4

the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event, if the amount is not settled, the petitioner is at liberty to restore this contempt petition.
