This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pass an order on the Petitioner's Renewal Applications dated 5.7.2018 for the period from 13.12.2011 to 12.12.2016 and 13.12.2016 to 12.12.2021 along with the First Renewal Application dated 2.11.2006 in respect of the Petitioner's Mini Stage Carriage Permit bearing Registration No. TN 67A 900 to ply on the route of Manapparai R.V.Mahal to Veerakoilpatti.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.It is seen from the typed-set of papers, in respect of the subject-matter in question, in M.V.Appeal No.15/2008, by order dated 5.11.2009, the State Appellate Tribunal, Chennai has passed an order setting aside the order passed by the first respondent herein/The Regional Transport Authority, Tiruchirappalli, dated 3.6.2008 and remanding the matter back to the said Authority to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

consider the Renewal Application of the Petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the said judgement. Though the said order was passed in the year 2009,despite passage of ten long years, the first respondent/The Regional Transport Authority, Trichy has not passed any order. Now the Petitioner is seeking an order on the Renewal application made by him in respect of his Mini Stage Carriage Permit bearing Registration No. TN 67A 900 to ply on the route of Manapparai R.V.Mahal to Veerakoilpatti.

4.Considering the above said facts and circumstances and since the matter is pending for more than ten long years, the first respondent/The Regional Transport Authority, Trichy is directed to consider the Renewal Applications, dated 5.7.2018 for the period from 13.12.2011 to 12.12.2016 and 13.12.2016 to 12.12.2021 along with the First Renewal Application, dated 2.11.2006 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties including the Petitioner, within a period of two weeks from today. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.

6.Post the matter under the caption for reporting compliance on 12.02.2019.
