Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to take immediate action for provide free electricity connection to the petitioners agricultural land in Survey No.127/10, situated at Soorakundu Village, Melur Taluk, and Madurai District, in petitioners application No.1150619439 (DAP No.115080674) dated 18.08.2006 by considering petitioner's representation dated 28.04.2023 in accordance with law within time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned standing counsel clarified that as and when next announcement for providing free electricity connection is made, the petitioner would definitely be provided with free electricity service connection for the petition mentioned land.
