ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to prevent the respondents 4 to 6 from laying any electric line across the petitioner's land in S.No.404/2 at Naganur Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 22.08.2025.
2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the sixth respondent has filed counter affidavit, wherein in paragraph No.20, it has been stated as follows: 2/5

20.It is humbly submitted that the lands mentioned in this writ petition is not part of the present power project. Besides, if there is any future proposal to lay electrical transmission lines over the petitioner's land, such action will be done in accordance with the settled position of law. Hence, the apprehension of the petitioner at this juncture is unwarranted. Therefore, this writ petition may be dismissed as premature. "
