PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.11.2024 based on that to dispose Document No.533/2023 in Na.Ka.No.6296/2023/M1 on the file of the first respondent within the time frame as fixed by this Court. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 01.11.2024 based on that to dispose Document No.533/2023 in Na.Ka.No.6296/2023/M1 on the file of the first respondent.

2. The petitioner, who is the owner of the property in S.No.379/3B to an extent of 6540 square feet including pathway situated at Velampatti Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District applied for patta to the first respondent. The first respondent on 31.01.2023 directed the petitioner to appear before the second respondent with relevant documents regarding the said survey number. The petitioner appeared before the second respondent and submitted relevant documents along with his explanation in respect of grant of patta. The second respondent sent all the documents regarding the said survey number to the first respondent. Inspite of receipt of documents, the first respondent did not initiate further action, the petitioner therefore filed the writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

3. With the consent of both learned counsels, the writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself. 2/5

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though a large relief is claimed in the writ petition, it would suffice if a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 01.11.2024 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

5. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 01.11.2024 within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
