ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to transfer the investigation with regard to the petitioner's complaint, dated 26.11.2022 in Crime No.918 of 2022 on the file of the second respondent Police to third respondent/Inspector of Police, CBCID (Crime Branch Crime Investigation Department), Madurai District.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today (i.e., 07.12.2022) the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that a complaint and counter complaint came to be lodged and on the basis of the both complaints, FIR came to be registered in Crime Nos.917 and 918 of 2022, on 01.12.2022 and that the investigation is at initial stage. He would further submit that there are several cases pending between the petitioner and the second accused, who is the brother in law. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the second respondent is directed to proceed with the 2/4

investigation and the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Thilahar Thidal, Madurai, is directed to monitor the same.

5.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
