ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take necessary steps to provide protection to the petitioner's family from the fourth respondent and his henchmen based on the petitioner's representation dated 03.12.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that on the basis of the earlier complaint lodged by the petitioner, FIR came to be registered and that final report was also filed and the same is pending. He would further submit that the petitioner has again 2/4

lodged another complaint and he is not co-operating for the investigation till now.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready to appear before the third respondent police.

5. Recording the submissions, the petitioner is directed to appear before the third respondent police and on such appearance, the third respondent police is directed to proceed with the enquiry in the manner known to law.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
