ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to defreeze the savings bank account maintained by the petitioner with the 2nd respondent.

Even according to the petitioner, the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.3 of 2025 registered for the offences under Sections 420, 364, 506 (ii) I.P.C and Section 66E of the Information Technolocy (Amendment) Act, 2008 and during the course of investigation, the petitioner's account was frozen. If the petitioner's complaint is that the respondents have committed illegality in freezing the account, the petitioner has to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate concerned and seek for de-freezing of the account. This petition cannot be entertained under 528 of BNSS (482 Cr.P.C.).

3. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the learned Magistrate and seek appropriate relief.
