Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the entire record pertaining to the Impugned Election Notification issued by the 2nd respondent dated 23.11.2022, published in Tamil Daily Newspaper (Tirunelveli Edison) 24.11.2022) and quash the same as illegal and consequently, direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to include the name of the petitioners in the final voter list, before proceedings with the 3rd respondent, 2022 Election for 65 Executive Members post by following the provisions of Association Bye-Laws.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for R1 and the learned Senior Counsel appearing for R3.
2. The petitioner questions the impugned election notification issued in respect of the third respondent. The third respondent is a private body.
3. When I indicated that the petitioner may have to fight his battle elsewhere, the petitioner's counsel submitted that he would not press the matter. 2/4
4. Leaving open the other rights and remedies of the writ petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
