ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition is filed for direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. 1/4

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that a complaint has been lodged against the petitioner for cheating, which is pending enquiry in CSR No.391 of 2025 and that the enquiry would be completed within a period of two weeks. He would further submit that the petitioner was called for enquiry and has not co-operated in the enquiry.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is not feeling well and needs time to appear for enquiry. He would further submit that the petitioner would appear before the second respondent on 24.09.2025.

4. In view of the aforesaid submission, the petitioner shall appear before the second respondent for enquiry on 24.09.2025. The second respondent shall thereafter conduct an enquiry in a fair manner and communicate the result of the enquiry to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

5. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 12.09.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No Lm 2/4
