PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of certiorari calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order of transfer passed by the Senior Grade Deputy Manager (Human Resources) in order No.022344/HR5/SETC TN/2019/4913, dated 25.01.2020 and consequential relieving order issued by the third respondent in Memo No.063/Thi1/SETC/Nellai/2020, dated 28.01.2020, quash the same.

The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a writ of certiorari to quash the transfer order, dated 25.01.2020, passed by the sixth respondent and the consequential relieving order, dated 28.01.2020, passed by the third respondent.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the petitioner has been transferred to Tirunelveli-I Branch, wherein he is working at present and therefore, the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the above submission of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
