Respondents PRAYER :-Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to pay the petitioner all his terminal benefits namely EPF Employee`s Contribution, Gratuity and Encashment of Leave, etc., forthwith together with 18 percent interest per annum, and further directing the respondents to pay him forthwith full pension and commutation of pension under TNSTCE Pension Fund Rules, along with balance of 25 percent monthly pension payable from the month of May, 2024, together with 18 percent interest per annum, within a time frame as may as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to pay the petitioner all his terminal benefits namely EPF Employee's Contribution, Gratuity and Encashment of Leave, etc., forthwith together with 18 percent interest per annum, and further directing the respondents to pay him forthwith full pension and commutation of pension under TNSTCE Pension Fund Rules, along with balance of 25 percent monthly pension payable from the month of May, 2024, together with 18 % interest per annum, within a time frame as may as fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue raised in this writ petition is covered by an earlier order passed by this Court and has placed reliance on the order made in W.P(MD)No.20522 of 2025 dated 29.07.2025.

3. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents also does not dispute the said fact.

4. Considering the admitted fact that there has been a delay in payment and based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.03.2025, the respondent is directed to disburse all the terminal benefits along with applicable interest as per the relevant statutory provisions, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
