ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondents to complete the investigation in Crime No.348 of 2018, dated 17.11.2018, based on the petitioner's complaint, dated 29.10.2022 on the file of the second respondent and to file final report within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the State.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.348 of 2018. He would further submit that investigation is almost completed and that they are going to file a charge sheet shortly. Hence, he seeks ten days time to file charge sheet before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court. 2/4

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file charge sheet in Crime No.348 of 2018 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
