O RDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to defreeze the petitioner's bank account bearing No.958201000625 maintained in the second respondent Bank and permit the petitioner to operate his account within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the first respondent, vide letter dated 23.09.2022, directed the second respondent to freeze the bank account of the petitioner and the second respondent has freezed the bank account of the petitioner. Without disclosing any reason, directing the second respondent to freeze the bank account of the petitioner is not sustainable one. Hence, this petition has been filed.
3. It appears that the first respondent, namely, the Sub-Inspector of Police, Kohir Police Station, Sangareddy District, Telangana State, has directed the second respondent to freeze the bank account of the petitioner by letter dated 23.09.2022, pursuant to which, the second respondent has freezed his bank account. Therefore, the petitioner has to challenge the letter dated 23.09.2022 issued by the first respondent 2/5
Police before the jurisdictional Court. Instead, filing the present petition seeking to defreeze his bank account is not sustainable one and the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be granted by this Court.
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
